plasticine 750g - 1 hardness - dark grey:

Plasticine is often used in clay animation or stop-motion animation. It is mouldable enough to create a character, flexible enough to allow that character to move in many ways, and dense enough to retain its shape easily when combined with a wire armature, and it does not melt under hot studio lighting. But it is important to have a Plasticine which does not dry definitively.

In 1933, we can find it in O’Brien’s film “King Kong”. Then Ray Harryhausen (one of his fan, who is also one of his colleagues) is the one who would develop this genre.

Aluminium wire 0.8mm

Price €4.60
Aluminium wire 0.8mm: Greenzone aluminium wire is perfect for stop-motion works because of its strength and softness. It is used in modeling to hold your clay as you sculpt the figure or the object. The 0.8mm aluminium wire is well-suited for 10cm pieces. It can be also braided to be more strength, and so you will be able to bend it a lot of time without breaking it. Do not forget to put some glue (bi-composing epoxy) in the more fragile places of the model.
